Quick answers for how things work in BA Tents & Fabric Shades’ Architectural Configurator.
"+ New Layout" (sidebar or Quick Actions) creates a blank layout and opens the Configurator straight away — tent size, client, and sales person details are entered inside the Configurator's Cover page and fill in the layout name automatically. Every edit autosaves, and "Clone" on any layout starts a new one preloaded with its full configuration.
Templates are built from your own saved tent sizes — each card is your most recently updated layout of that size. "Use as template" clones it into a new layout so you only need to change what's different, instead of starting from scratch.
Clients and Team are grouped directly from the Client Name/Contact and Sales Person fields already saved on your layouts — there's no separate list to keep in sync. Save a layout with those fields filled in and it shows up here automatically.
The download icon (or "Download PDF" in a layout's menu) opens the last exported PDF instantly if one exists, or generates a fresh one in the background and opens the print dialog — no need to open the full editor.
Light/Dark mode lives at the bottom of the sidebar and syncs to your account, so it follows you across devices. Personal and company details are managed from Settings (your Profile page).
